Safari Reader Mode is one of those features I completely forget about, but it's a great asset when I'm reading articles online. Reader Mode removes the clutter of a webpage so you can focus solely on the content you’re reading. With iOS 9, there are now more options for personalizing the appearance of Safari Reader Mode, including customized font and background color.

Picture in picture is one of the new iPad multitasking features introduced with iOS 9. Picture in Picture works with iPad Pro, iPad Air or later, and iPad mini 2 or later. You can use Picture in Picture with FaceTime or while browsing in Safari. If you come across a video you want to watch, with Picture in Picture, you can minimize the video window and continue to browse or use other apps while you continue watching your video.

One of the many upgrades in iOS 9 is the Notes app. Now, you can do things such as draw using your finger and add photo. It's a whole new app. One of the changes is the ability to share websites to your notes. For example, if you find an article that is relevant to a project you're working on, you can share it to one of your notes, add text, and open your note anytime to find the link waiting.
