Apple's Reminders app for the iPhone and iPad has a useful new feature with the introduction of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, the ability to add attachments to Reminders. We've previously covered how to set a reminder and how to search for a particular reminder, now we'll get into how to make your reminders even more useful by adding attachments like photos or documents.

One of my favorite features of the Reminders app is the ability to share lists over iCloud. Sharing lists in the Reminders app includes great features like the ability to add and remove members from a shared list, and even to remind list members to accomplish tasks when they're at the correct location to do so. Once you get the hang of using Reminders to share your lists, you may just wonder what you ever did without this feature. Let's learn how to use the Reminders app on your iPhone to share lists.

It's not hard to lose track of everything you want to do in a day. You can use your device's Reminders app to create reminders and get an alert to do things at a certain time. Here's how to set a reminder on your iPhone or iPad for whatever you need.

If I get a call on my iPhone when I'm busy, I'll tap Decline and immediately forget that someone called me. I was happy to discover that there's a way to get your iPhone to remind you to call the person back. Here's how to skip phone calls with Remind Me Later, so you won't be playing phone tag for days on end.

I use the Reminders app on my iPhone quite a bit. I’ll create a reminder to pick up my dry cleaning, to buy my cousin a birthday present, or to pay a bill. When I create Reminders, I usually set them to remind me on a certain day, at a certain time. But if I need to make a change to one reminder among many, manually shuffling through them is a pain. For example, I made a Reminder to “pay a fee for the school trip” my son was going on. I forgot what the fee amount was and needed the information before the due date. Instead of tapping each folder and scrolling through them to find it, I simply accessed the Reminders search field. Here’s how to search for a particular reminder on iPhone.

With the introduction of WatchOS 3 came Breathe, a feature on Apple Watch that’s similar to Stand in that it reminds you to breathe throughout the day. Obviously we don’t need to be reminded to breathe, but the feature is about putting your focus on your breath, stopping everything else you’re doing, and taking a minute (or more) to practice a little mindfulness using breath as the centering point. On days I’m stressed, I appreciate the reminders. But most of the time, I dismiss it. If you’d rather not receive reminders to breathe throughout your day, here’s how to turn off Breathe reminders on Apple Watch with WatchOS 3.

If you think of something you don’t want to forget, you can quickly ask Siri to add the reminder to your list. But when you ask Siri to remind you about something, like your car payment, Siri automatically adds the reminder to the default Reminders list. If you want the reminder added to a different list, that's possible too. You just have to phrase your request a little differently. Here’s how to use Siri to add reminders to specific lists.

I use Reminders to remember everything from drinks with coworkers to my friend’s wedding day, which means it’s important I can find that reminder regardless of what device I’m on. Luckily it’s easy to choose whether I want to sync all reminders or just reminders from the last two weeks. Depending on how you use reminders a short period of sync time might work for you; either way, here’s how to designate which reminders to sync.

Reminders are my favorite way to remember things I need to do and events coming up. The Reminders app allows you to create a reminder that notifies you on a certain day and time or at a location. But you can also set a reminder to have a low or high priority. Doing so won’t change anything within the Reminders app, but if you sync your reminders with iCloud, Outlook, or iCal, then priority reminders will appear in order of priority. Here’s how to set a priority reminder on your iPhone.

The reminders app is my favorite way to easily remember events coming up. Often, I’ll ask Siri to set a reminder for me. When you add a time or location to your reminder, you’ll get a notification at the perfect moment. Usually to edit this information in the Reminders app, you need to tap the blue “i” next to the reminder. But with 3D Touch (only on iPhone 6s and later), you can skip all that and quickly jump into editing. Here’s how to edit reminders with 3D Touch.

I don't know about you, but if I don't write down my appointments and activities, I'm sure to lose them in a deep, dark corner of my mind. To say I'm merely forgetful is an understatement. The Reminders app allows me to set reminders on iPhone based on the time, day, or location. For example, my iPhone can remind me to pick up some milk on the way home from work using the phone's GPS. If you use iCloud, your reminders can also be synced among all your devices. Here's how to set a reminder on iPhone X and earlier iPhones. We'll also cover how to set an alarm or due date reminder, how to add a location-based alert, and how to get reminders to pop up on your iPhone so you don't miss them.

iPhone reminders are an easy way to keep your life on schedule. You can set them via the Reminders app or simply tell Siri when and what you need to be reminded of. However, I don't use the reminders app very often; therefore, it's buried in a folder on my third Home Screen and is annoying to access. But, did you know that you don't have to unlock your phone to mark a reminder as complete? You can even Snooze the reminder from Lock Screen as though it were any other alarm. Once you've set a reminder in the native app, the reminder will be set to go off. Here's how to mark it complete from Lock Screen.

Setting reminders for yourself on your iPhone has never been easier. With iOS 9, Siri has received a major intelligence boost and is capable of understanding terms such as "it" or "this," which means you can now ask Siri to set a contextual reminder based on what you are looking at on your iPhone screen.

In iOS 8 Apple expanded the formerly limited options for customizing repeat reminders in the Reminders app. You can set the app so that you're reminded of something at intervals such as every third day, the 1st and 15th of the month, the last day of the month, and much more.

It can be really handy to use Siri to create events and reminders — so much faster than opening the app and doing it manually. However, you need to be careful how you word your request, because Siri will sometimes mix things up: creating an event when you wanted a reminder, and vice versa.

If you need to call someone, but it's not convenient to place the call right now, you can use the Reminders app to help you remember to make the call later. If you use Siri to create the call reminder, you'll be able to call the person directly from the reminder notification.
