From big chain stores to small businesses, Apple Pay is accepted at over four million locations. Despite the widespread availability it's not always obvious whether or not a store accepts Apple Pay. There are a couple different methods available for finding Apple Pay stores in your area. It would be impossible to list all the stores that accept Apple Pay because the list keeps growing. However, I’ll offer some tips on how to find Apple Pay locations near you. You can even view places that take Apple Pay in the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad! Let’s take a look at where and how you can use Apple Pay.

In iOS 10, there are now two ways Siri makes app suggestions on the Lock screen. The first is the Siri app suggestions that appear in the Widget pane. The second are the time and location-based app suggestions that appear in the lower left corner of the Lock screen in the same place app icons appear when you’re using Handoff. If you don’t appreciate this feature, it’s easy to turn off app suggestions.

Some of your Facebook friends like games. A lot. Some of your Facebook friends want you to like games a lot too. And you know this because they've sent you so many Facebook game requests that you are considering unfriending them just to make the onslaught stop.  We at iPhone Life don't want to tell you who to be friends with, but you don't actually have to unfriend the Facebook gamers you know in order to make the game requests stop. Have you ever been watching something on Netflix with your iPhone or iPad only to realize the app was using cellular data instead of Wi-Fi? Most of us do not have unlimited data available, so that can be an expensive mistake. To avoid using data when you don't have to, it's a good idea to prevent data-gobbling apps from accessing data as their default setting. You can do this by turning off cellular data for specific apps, like video and music streaming apps, and changing the frequency with which apps like Mail fetch new data.

Control Center is great because it allows you to quickly do all kinds of useful things like turn Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, and Do Not Disturb on or off, lock your screen orientation, control playback, adjust volume levels, open your phone's calculator, and use your iPhone as a flashlight. However, some people worry about privacy when Control Center is accessible from Lock Screen (although, rest assured, nothing private can be opened without unlocking your phone), and others get tired of accidentally opening Control Center in an app while playing a game. Which is why Apple made it possible to turn off access to Control Center from Lock screen and within apps. Here’s how to disable access to Control Center from Lock Screen.

Say goodbye to Glances on Apple Watch. With WatchOS 3, the Apple Watch has a customizable dock that allows you to quickly jump into apps you often use. The dock on the Apple Watch is opened by tapping the side button, which used to contain the circle of friends in previous Apple Watch operating systems. The Dock is comparable to Glances from older operating systems for Apple Watch, but now works a bit more like the app switcher on the iPhone. Here’s how to add and remove apps from Dock on Apple Watch with Watch OS 3.
